
What's new in Microsoft Dynamics GP October 2021 Release - Systems / Workflow.
October is "Release Time" for Microsoft Dynamics GP!
With this latest release, Microsoft is reaffirming that the primary source of the new features has been customer requests that have been submitted and voted on!
The October release has both new features and quality fixes.
Below are some of the new Systems / Workflow features that we are excited about.
1. Workflow Automation for Workflow Batches (GL, AR, PM).
This new feature promotes seamless integration between the Approval and Posting processes. With this new Workflow function, the posting process is now within the Batch Approval Workflow. When the batch is Final Approved, it will be automatically posted. The new feature applies to Payables, General Ledger, and Receivables Management Batches.
NB: This feature is only available when approval is done within Dynamics GP.

2. Workflow Approver Count.
In addition to previous Completion Policy options, you can now specify by “Number of approvers” where you can choose the exact number of the total specified approvers you require to approve the workflow at that step.
For example, if the Workflow is assigned to 4 approvers but the number of approvers is specified at 2, then it will only require 2 approvers to complete.

3. Workflow Carbon Copy delete option.
The Workflow email notification has been enhanced to include a list of carbon copy emails to other users along with the user who submitted, approved, rejected, delegated, or final approved.
This is a great function if someone leaves the organisation and needs to be removed from the notification list.
