mecwacare held their Annual Charity Golf Day on Monday (11th February) at Kew Golf Club.

As a client of Professional Advantage, we were very proud to not only sponsor, but also attend and participate in the day. The weather offered perfect summer conditions for the day, which began with breakfast before everyone proceeded on to 18 holes of competitive golf. To add further activity and entertainment to the day, a putting competition, wine and cheese tent, coffee cart on course, and a bumper raffle were on offer.

mecwacare is a not-for-profit organisation that provides care to the Victorian community in the form of residential aged care, home care packages, respite care, in-home support, community housing, community programs, and disability and nursing services. They care for more than 14,000 people each week across the greater Melbourne and regional Victoria areas with a network operated by more than 1,700 employees and 350 volunteers.

A group of staff from our Melbourne office attended the day, with one team member not only winning the putting competition, but also winning 6th prize in the raffle. We really appreciated getting to spend time with our clients in a setting and surrounding less formal than what we are used to.
