Sydney Catchment Authority (SCA) is a NSW government statutory authority responsible for managing water supply and catchment infrastructure for the greater Sydney area.

 

Following a detailed review of Infor FMS SunSystems Asset Register, SCA has approved implementation to meet their complex "historical modified cost accounting" requirements. This involves the need to manage master assets (including dams and weirs) as well as their many component assets: original purchase price, impairments, partial disposal, current valuation and replacement cost...all in parallel to comply with management, statutory reporting and accounting standards.

 

This solution extends SCA's use of Infor FMS SunSystems software which was originally implemented by Professional Advantage in 2000.
