Open Banking Data
Bank Data feeds for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central have taken a great leap forward. SISS Data Services have just released a major update to their ACSISS Connect solution, meaning that Business Central users can now access transaction data from effectively all Australian banks and across various account types, including transaction, deposit, loan, and credit card accounts. Even historical data is available, back to 2017.
“ACSISS Connect is already helping many Business Central users to more securely, more efficiently, and more accurately feed bank transaction data into their system” said Grant Augustin, MD of SISS Data Services. “We have massively expanded the range of data available by connecting to Open Banking.”
Open Banking is the common name for the Consumer Data Right (CDR), a Commonwealth Government initiative designed to empower Australian consumers and businesses to make better and more efficient use of their financial data, as held by banks and other financial institutions. Under the regulations, banks and other data holders must share data when requested to do so. Importantly, unlike older technologies like ‘screen-scraping’, data sharing under the CDR does not require the disclosure of online banking passwords—a significant improvement in security—nor the completion of paper forms—a significant improvement in convenience.
New and existing ACSISS Connect users can obtain the Open Banking powered solution via Microsoft AppSource or contact SISS Data Services at [email protected].
