See What Secure Score Can’t
Microsoft 365 Tenant Health Assessment TenantRecon
Your Microsoft Secure Score is a single number. This is the assessment behind it.
You already know Microsoft Secure Score. It's a handy dashboard, but it only scratches the surface of what's actually happening across your tenant.
TenantRecon goes underneath the score.
TenantRecon is Professional Advantage's Microsoft 365 Tenant Health Assessment, a deep, expert-led review of how your tenant is really configured, using Microsoft Graph to examine the settings that shape your security, compliance, governance, and licensing.
You won't just get a dashboard. You will get a business-friendly report from senior consultants who have translated the technical findings into recommendations you can actually act on.
Built on the frameworks you already answer to
TenantRecon benchmarks your environment against the standards that matter—CIS, CISA SCuBA, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, CMMC 2.0, EIDSCA, and MITRE ATT&CK—so when leadership, auditors, or stakeholders ask where you stand, you will have a clear answer.
What we look at
Secure Score tracks things like admin counts, but not how permissions accumulate over time or how long dormant accounts stay active.
Secure Score checks whether a policy exists, not whether it was scoped properly. A policy can technically satisfy the recommendation while only covering a handful of test accounts.
Third-party apps quietly gain access to company data through OAuth permissions. Visibility for these permissions lives entirely outside Secure Score, in tools like Defender for Cloud Apps.
SPF, DKIM, and DMARC misconfigurations open the door to impersonation attacks, and they are only loosely reflected in your score.
Secure Score reflects a point-in-time configuration, not ongoing drift.
Great for collaboration, easy to lose track of if guest access is not actively governed—an area Secure Score barely touches.
Chances are you are paying for more seats or tiers than your organisation is actually using. Secure Score measures security configuration, not cost. It won't flag waste at all.
What you walk away with
A report that shows you where things stand, what to fix first, and what's already working. Findings are ranked by business impact, so your team knows exactly where to focus, not a wall of technical detail with no priority order.
