Congratulations, Estelle Bott!
We are delighted to announce Estelle from Kingsgate Investments as the winner of our Social Media competition.
Estelle has won 2 ducks to donate to a family in Bangladesh. This will provide them with nutritious eggs that they can eat or sell at the market for cash that can be spent on education. A pig for a family in Laos will help fertilise crops and to breed with other pigs to provide an important source of income when sold at the market. The goat will help save a family from poverty by providing goat's milk; and by breeding more goats, they can be sold to pay for tools and school fees.
From the survey we learnt:
- Facebook is the most popular social media with 59% of respondents active on the site, Google+ and LinkedIn were the second and third most popular with just less than half of the respondents using the sites. Twitter was used by only 9% of respondents.
- 44% of respondents were active on social media every day, with only 3% being completely inactive. 19% of respondents signed in most days with another 19% using social media about once a week.
- To keep in touch with family and friends was the main reason of people logging onto social media with two-thirds using the sites for this reason. This was closely followed by catching up with the latest news, articles and blogs. Some way behind was to research products or services, which is the reason why 38% of respondents use social media.
Congratulations to Stuart Best from Mitsui E&P Australia who logged a call on eService online customer portal and won an iPad 2. Karen Thomas from Senex was our last winner.
While that was the last of the iPads, remember the best way to log a support call for SunSystems or XMPro is still through our eService online customer portal.
