A Fireside chat with Matt Brown
The fireside chat is where we like to introduce people from the iPOS world – both on the client and partner sides. The virtual community can be a little impersonal and it is nice to put a face to a name and get to know a little more about some of the people in the iPOS community.

NSW Department of the Arts, Sport and Recreation (DASR)
iPOS Administrator etc.
Photos of my wife and daughter; glimpses of blue sky; iPOS homepage (I have nightmares in orange).
Paperwork everywhere..…..but at least I know where it all is (classic cliché, I know, but true)
With 300 users, I don't have enough time away from user support to do the development work on our agency's iPOS policy and procedure that needs to be done, and that we don't already have ‘Electronic Document Management' and ‘eLearning' implemented at DASR.
Work hard; know your strengths and weaknesses; treat everyone with the honesty and respect that you expect in return; and treasure time spent with the family.
If you plug it in, it works better (ask a techo for a useful tech tip, I say)
Trusty 1987 Commodore gets me here in about 20 minutes, depending on Parramatta Road traffic.
Making the long drive to my parents' place to collect my three-year-old (how life has changed – but at least there's a nice dinner and a glass of wine waiting for us there)
Finishing off the house renovation and then starting the job of restoring my 1965 model Ford Falcon.
Wife (Deborah) and daughter (Olivia) – hello ladies; no pets……..yet
As evidenced by the photo, haircuts are not really my thing anymore. However, I do recall one or two eighties shockers.
Signwriter (yes, once there was a time when my knees could cope with climbing a twenty-foot ladder with a 40 kilo sign in tow)
Sydney , Australia
The renovation has caused me to forget what real holidays are all about but, in a past life, I remember having magical times in both Italy and Byron Bay
