Microsoft reveals some details about CRM 3.0

Microsoft release a new version of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software towards the end of this year. It will offer a user experience familiar and comfortable to anyone who uses Microsoft Office or Microsoft Outlook. The new version will include a special edition for small businesses, a subscription-based license for hosting services, and support for more languages, including Chinese and Arabic.

Two new modules will come with this release which will manage direct marketing campaigns, and  complex personnel and resource scheduling requests. The leap from version 1.2 to 3.0 reflects the magnitude of these updates.

Herringbone, a Sydney-based company founded in 1997 by John Mutton and Matt Jensen, is committed to producing fashion products that are distinguished by their detail.

Fuelled by significant growth and increasing demands being placed on their Point of Sale and Supply Chain environment, Herringbone approached Professional Advantage in March

to investigate a proposed solution for their Retail and Back Office processes that would enable business growth whilst providing greater visibility across the board. Specifically:

  • Centralised Stock Management
  • Simplicity of Reporting
  • Removal of data double handling, thereby improving accuracy and accessibility of data
  • Accurate tracking of Store and Warehouse stock levels
  • Scalability to allow for increased growth

element of their project later this month.
