Cash basis reporting module for Microsoft Great Plains
Prepare cash-basis and accrual-basis financial reports simply by selecting the appropriate criteria at the time the reports are designed and/or generated.

AIM Cash Basis Reporting module provides users with the ability to transparently post transaction distributions to both accrual and cash accounts and then prepare cash-basis and accrual-basis financial reports simply by selecting the appropriate account segment at the time reports are designed or generated. This provides a fully-integrated cash-basis reporting system to complement the built-in accrual-basis reporting provided by Great Plains. For further information please contact your account manager or email microsoftinfo@pa.com.au.

Tip from the Customer Support Team:
stop 'printer dialog box' appearing

It is possible to prevent your printer dialog box from appearing in Great Plains.
To do this you will need to add this setting to your DEX.INI file (located in Great Plains directory): NoPrintDialogs=TRUE and save your changes.
A value of TRUE means that print dialog boxes will not appear; if you don't include this line, or use a setting of FALSE, print dialog boxes will appear.

House With No Steps uses Great Plains for the benefits of people with disabilities
Case study of your fellow Great Plains users featured in
The Australian

House With No Steps, a non-profit organisation and Professional Advantage's customer has implemented Great Plains just over 12 months ago, right on time for a new financial year.
The company focuses on quality support and services for people with disabilities and operates several businesses in NSW and QLD providing employment opportunities for 450 people. Fast growth, diversity of operations and geographical spread provided a huge challenge for consolidations and reporting. Since Great Plains implementation, House With No Steps was able to consolidate on one central database and dramatically improve reporting time and quality.

The next steps for the organisation will be to roll out Webhouse Business Intelligence and FRx Forecaster budgeting tool. To read the article as it was published in The Australian, click here. To read the full story click here.
