Customer InTheSpotlight: Beacon Lighting  From little things big things grow...

ABOUT BEACON LIGHTING
An Australian owned and operated company, with 70 stores (containing a mix of company owned and franchise operations), across regional and metropolitan areas. The company has aggressive growth targets and plans to open six new stores on
an annual basis.

CHALLENGE & SOLUTION
With over 6000 inventory items that made merchandise planning & replenishment challenging and intranet infrastructure
that did not provide the level of control required, Beacon Lighting looked at updating their systems to move forward. Professional Advantage responded with a recommendation to adopt Microsoft Dynamics GP and build a data warehouse
for Beacon Lighting to provide the foundation for a customized retail planning and merchandising solution. This was subsequently followed by a SharePoint intranet portal project to improve distribution of information at the company.
