Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 will be released in January 2008

Microsoft has recently announced that the latest version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, version 4.0 will be released in January 2008.  The new version is packed with new features and improvements in most areas, such as:

  • Data Management: New built-in duplicate detection functionality
  • Customisation: Many to many relationships can now be created 
  • Multicurrency: Multiple currencies are now supported for transaction-based records
  • Reporting: New report wizard and offline reporting capabilities
  • Workflow: Improved capabilities through Windows Workflow

Improved cash flow through accurate chargeback tracking

ChargeBack processing is a feature-rich module that provides deductions management capabilities to your Microsoft Dynamics GP Receivables Management System. It meets the chargeback acceptance and processing needs of wholesale distribution organisations that have dealings with major distributors, such as Coles and Woolworths, regardless of industry or product type.

Some of the key features of ChargeBack processing are:

  • One-step entry of chargebacks during Cash Receipts processing
  • Automatic creation of Account Receivable documents for unapproved chargebacks
  • Association of adjustments by expense category and specific General Ledger accounts
  • Configurable allow/disallow rules for chargebacks based on adjustment types and customers
  • Complete drill down and inquiry capabilities, by customer or chargeback reference number
