The latest version of BankPro has been released
BankPro v7.5.6 is now available for the SQL Server platform

Professional Advantage has just released the latest version of BankPro. This version is only available for SQL Server Platform. Some of the most notable additions and improvements in the new version are:

  • A new EFT creditor enquiry window has been added
  • Report for Printing Audit Information for EFT creditor details.
  • EFT numbering options of By File or By Line.
  • The Reconcile Bank Statement window has been added allowing a new way to reconcile by providing an on screen bank statement reconciliation.
  • BankPro Setup window - DEP & CHK. Changes to reflect the codes entered on the Bank Reconciliation Setup window.

Microsoft Great Plains heralded a success by Starbucks Coffee Australia - Starbucks Case Study

When Danielle Baigent-Garvey faced a fiscal dilemma in late 2001 due to the rapid expansion of the Starbucks operation in Australia, she decided to replace the existing over-exhausted financial software.

Her criteria was simple - the new package needed to be able to grow with the organization and be easy to use. "We chose Microsoft Great Plains because it was a scalable package, with the right functionality," she said.

Microsoft Great Plains implemented by Professional Advantage, provided a solid platform for Starbucks integrated system. The excel-based interface linked to the POS solution eliminated the need to enter the same transaction multiple times. This offered easy access to data to simplify reporting and analysis requirements.

"Microsoft Great Plains has made our work much easier for the Starbucks financial team," Danielle said.

"We are no longer spending significant time typing in repetitive data entries from our three main suppliers. In the past, this meant entering three complete sets of data."

On the 13th of October 2003, Microsoft announced that Professional Advantage had won the prestigious Global ERP Reseller of the Year Award.

The award is given to a partner whose energy, persistence, and integrity has strengthened Microsoft's leadership across multiple platforms and markets and who has achieved the highest number of new Microsoft Business Solutions customers.

Microsoft CRM Update
Australian release is due in January 2004

The much anticipated release of Microsoft CRM solution is getting closer. Microsoft CRM V1.2 and the integration to Great Plains will be available in Australia on the 12th January 2004.

New Customer Support employee
Another service professional joins the staff of Professional Advantage

With a background in accounting, Greg Long brings with him over four years of experience in developing and implementing tax software for accountants. Coming to Professional Advantage from Ernst & Young, he is currently learning the finer intricacies of Great Plains working with the Customer Support Team.

 


Customer Support over the holiday break
Reduced customer support hours

From the 24th of December up to and including the 2nd of January, Customer Support will be operating on reduced hours. Over this period we will be available for support between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.

We will go back to operating our normal hours from the 3rd of January.
